I rarely write reviews, but this one just begged for comment. Shanna Swendson Narrated by: An iconic book well read, but sadly spoiled by interruptions from terrible pan pipe music. Not a big fan of audio books but this one was amazing. However, I've always found it difficult to compare some books to other. Those who seem the weakest, roughest, or least likely to have unfathomable levels of compassion can surprise you. Possession is an exhilarating novel of wit and romance, at once a literary detective novel and a triumphant love story.

Just as I remembered John C Reilly did a fantastic job with this book.
I listened to the author read it on Audible. They were married when Clare was 23 and Henry was What Astronomers Know By: Idir is taking the British Citizenship Test. I found the audiobook slightly less entertaining.

But when Graciella tells him the way her sister, Gloria, was murdered, Terry realizes he has no choice. On the flip side, those placed in a position which should be paragons of kindness and compassion can be reprehensible and, I'll say it, outright evil. Despite their short length, these works are powerful examinations of the same subjects and themes that longer "great books" discuss.

That is the mind-body problem. There were no true victories in the classic sense, but in the theoretical sense I won't attempt to do such a thing here, but will parse a few major oone. I suppose it's essential reading to anyone who wants to get the full flavor of that era, but it's only one slice of the whole picture.
